I’d like to start my introduction with one of my favourite quotes “If you find yourself saying “But I can’t speak English…,” try adding the word “yet.”

I am an English instructor experienced in teaching both national and international students. My expertise lies in Spoken and Written English with a focus on practical use in different environments. I teach students and professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds.

I also impart lessons in Business communication, professional writing and IELTS training.

Teaching is my life's passion, and I have been instructing students of all ages for 4 years. I believe English is a powerful skill and can often open many doors of opportunities.

I provide both one-on-one sessions and group sessions.

My teaching style is very similar to an open classroom setting. I encourage everyone to share their questions and opinions in an unbiased and open environment. I integrate an array of practical activities and exercises in my lessons which inspire critical thinking in every session.

I strive to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles, then I'm there to help develop their interests and guide their absorption of the material.

My teaching philosophy is that every student should be introduced to the tools they need to establish their own learning style. Some might be avid readers while others can learn through mediums of media. Because of how important technology is in our world, and given my advanced degree, I incorporate technology whenever possible in my lessons while still leaving plenty of room to celebrate the students' imaginations with specialized activities and hands-on experiences.

Qualifications: B.A. Double Degree in Psychology and Communication science from UB, New York.
