Teaching Experience in detail in Flute Classes
I have been fortunate enough to learn Bansuri from my admired Guruji for 13 years. In fact, I still continue to learn Hindustani classical Raags light music from him, as learning never ends. Having been a seasoned vocalist since childhood adds to my tips and tricks on Sur and Taal perfectly. I have been teaching for 12 years, and I understand the difficulties faced by most flute learners and ensure that I pass the learning tricks to my students with proper flute holding techniques, finger placements for different notes, and breathing exercises to control airflow and produce clear tones. Slowly they will be introduced to different Ragas (melodic frameworks) and learn to play compositions within those frameworks. I guide my students in developing proper embouchure, breath control, and finger movements to achieve a refined musical expression with a more personalized approach. While you can choose between online and in-person lessons depending on your preference and location, I would always suggest coming in person to my studio, so learning becomes more effective.

"I am learning vocal from Sudhanshu sir since 1 year and he is a wonderful teacher as far as Hindustani music is the topic. He always tries to find student's strength, areas of improvement and then gives homework accordingly. Sir always makes sure that we are very clear on basic understanding of the music. I think I am in the right place for learning Hindustani vocal."

"I am fortunate to have him as my music teacher. I can proudly say that there is nothing better that I can expect from my Guruji, who clears all my doubts, have lots of patience and gives very practical examples with quick demonstration anything related to music. Thank you for sharing your knowledge so that I can improve day to day. Along with vocal lessons, your guidance on harmonium is a magical complementary."

"Sudhanshu Sir is an amazing flute teacher. He first understands the level of the student and customises his teaching style suit the requirement. This unconventional method of teaching is unique and effective. He is very good listener and ensures that all doubts are cleared. I've learned from two other teachers in well renowned academy and with due respect to them, Sudhanshu Sir is the best!! I'm fortunate to have found a wonderful Guru in him."

"Sudhanshu Sir is extremely professional and passionate in training. He has a way to make flute learning simple and easy to grasp. He gives dedicated attention to each of his disciples. Besides, he has an amazing command over both flute as well as vocal for Hindustani classical music, which adds to the efficacy of results. He is patient and has a great eye for details. This reduces pressure on the disciples and helps them progress at natural pace without getting stressed out. He ensures that the disciples sticks to the basic and strengthens the foundations. I would strongly recommend Sudhanshu Sir if you are passionate about learning flute."

In my opinion and experience, Private Learning is the best option to choose for classical vocal students, provided you have got an excellent teacher who keeps you to stay focused towards the next level. Online is the 2nd option if you are positioned away from your teacher; still, you should plan to meet your Guru Ji once in a while. Joining an academy sounds more commercial to me as teachers change sometimes and its managed by admin body who focus on getting more students to earn more; however, if you find the best teacher in the academy, you should still go for it as the group study under a great teacher can yield best results. Hope it helps.
