sin45 = 1/root(2) cot 45 = cos45/sin45 =1/root(2) (/) 1/root(2) = 1 Hence = 1/root(2) +1 =(1+root(2))/(root(2)) multiply & divide by root (2) (root(2)+2)/2 is the ans.
