I am a contemporary certified artist, and in to art field from the last 10+ years, I have exhibited my artwork in Bengaluru, Mumbai ( Nehru Planetarium), Udaipur ( Ministry of Culture), Nepal, Raipur, and few more places. I am also associated with Indian Art Promoter, Kala Spandan Art Fair. Teaching Experience - Overall I have 5 years of Freelance teaching experience ( Kids over 5 years of age and adults as well). And also associated with an Art School ( Malancha Pioneer Institute of Art)

I have had good experience teaching kids drawing and painting step by step from scratch. I start from basics and help students learn and practice regularly.

I conduct classes from Monday to Saturday for children and elders in batches. Have an experience in coaching children and elders in all forms of painting - water color, acrylic and oil painting. The painting course in acrylic and oil color engages students in learning basics and exploring paintings from simple to difficult subjects of one's choice on canvas thus building their skills in painting. Personal care is given to each student to ensure fulfilling one's passion in art and learning curve.

I always had a penchant for art and it gradually developed into a profession over the past decade. With encouragement from family and friends, I had my first group exhibition of 18 paintings in Bangalore in 2010. Following another exhibition of my artwork at Chithra Kala Parishad. My paintings range from flowers to succulents and landscapes to portraits. I love dabbling in oil paints and watercolour is my medium to meditate. I believe a painting should not only brighten up a room but also a person's soul. I have been teaching watercolours, oil painting, pastels, sketching and acrylics for more than 10 years now. I have conducted over 40 workshops in Bangalore including corporate workshops for Godrej United, Cisco systems, Tata Homes, VR Mall, Inorbit Mall, Brookefiled Mall to name a few. One of the high points of my life was my artwork being featured in 'The Hindu' in 2012.

Painting classes are fun. Explaining colour theory, mixing of colours, different painting techniques, sketching and painting. One good experience which I can jolt down here is it was colour grey which was thought to one of my student who was 6 years old and was asked to mix it in the on going class. Equal amount of colours: Pursian blue, Crimson red and Yellow ochre to be mixed but student of mine was getting green colour instead of grey. She started to cry. Encouraging her to get correct colour of not adding Crimson red to the mixed colour. She now remembers the incident and mix the colours properly to get the desired colour.

I've been teaching painting since 2009, working with students of all age groups and levels — from complete beginners to advanced painters refining their technique. I hold a degree in Digital Media and a certification in Fine Art, and I'm the founder of BKM Art Classes (BKM Artopia), where I built a complete painting curriculum grounded in the elements and principles of art and design. My core specialty is watercolour, with a strong focus on watercolour impressionism — capturing light, mood, and atmosphere rather than rigid photographic detail. I teach both additive technique (layering and glazing to build depth, saturation, and form) and subtractive technique (lifting, blotting, and masking to create highlights, texture, and the kind of controlled unpredictability that makes watercolour so expressive).
