Naveen R Hegde
A dynamic performer known for his zesty nritta, expressive abhinaya, and vibrant footwork, Naveen R Hegde hails from Sagara, Karnataka. His dance journey began under the tutelage of Vid. M. Gopal in Bharatanatyam evolved through rigorous training in both Bharatanatyam and Kathak under the esteemed guidance of Gurus Smt. Nirupama and Sri T.D. Rajendra. He is also proficient in the Karanas of the Natyashastra, reflecting his deep-rooted understanding of classical movement vocabulary.

Naveen is an empaneled artist with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and a graded performer with Doordarshan Bangalore. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SASTRA University, where he trained under the legendary Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam.

With numerous acclaimed solo performances across India and lead roles in productions by the Abhinava Dance Company, Naveen brings a wealth of stage experience. He is also a dedicated educator, imparting the nuances of both Bharatanatyam and Kathak to students of all ages.
