I teach Vocal Music and Kannada to students from Class 8 to 10. For the past 3 years, I have had the privilege of guiding students in both their artistic and academic journeys. My goal is to help students not only develop their musical abilities but also strengthen their academic performance, particularly in Kannada, through an engaging and supportive learning environment.

I hold an M.A. and B.Ed. with specialization in Kannada and Social Studies. Along with my academic background, I have pursued formal training in music. I hold a Diploma in Carnatic Music and have earned a Junior Grade certification from the Karnataka Music Board. These qualifications allow me to balance classroom teaching with in-depth training in vocal music, making me well-equipped to guide students in both areas.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of learners. In music, I introduce students to the fundamentals of Carnatic music, including voice culture, swaras, and bhajans. My focus is on helping them build a strong foundation while also encouraging confidence in stage performance. Many of my students have shown impressive growth in their musical expression and presentation skills.

In academics, I make Kannada language and Social Studies relatable and easy to understand by using interactive teaching methods. I believe that learning becomes effective when students are engaged, and I encourage active participation in the classroom. Several of my students have demonstrated significant improvement in their grades, comprehension, and overall confidence in Kannada.

I also prepare students for music examinations conducted by the Karnataka Music Board. I guide them through both the practical and theory components of the syllabus, ensuring they are well-prepared for each stage. Many of my students have successfully cleared their Junior Grade exams and are steadily progressing to higher levels, which gives me immense satisfaction as a teacher.

Currently, I conduct both online and offline classes to make learning accessible and convenient for my students. My sessions are practical-based, allowing learners to apply concepts directly. I also use whiteboard teaching for academics, provide notes, and conduct regular assessments to ensure clarity and progress. For me, teaching is not only about imparting knowledge but also about nurturing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation of learning.
