I teach Tamil to students from Class 1 to 7, and I have been doing so for the past 4 years. Teaching my native language is something I take great pride in. I aim not just to teach grammar or sentence structure but to cultivate a love for the Tamil language in each of my students. My classes are designed to make students feel comfortable while they gradually build fluency and confidence in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil.

I completed my B.Com degree in the Tamil medium, which has helped me develop a strong command over both academic and conversational Tamil. Though my background is in commerce, my medium of education has played a key role in shaping my teaching style. It allows me to bring clarity to the basics and explain complex grammar in a way that's accessible and easy to follow for young learners.

My teaching approach is structured and systematic. I design lesson plans tailored to each student’s individual level and learning style. This ensures that no student feels overwhelmed, and everyone progresses at a steady pace. I emphasize building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and reading comprehension. These elements are taught using fun activities and real-life examples that help bring the language to life.

One of the key aspects of my class is interactive learning. I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and engage in short conversations or reading exercises. This helps them retain what they learn and become more confident in using the language in day-to-day conversations.

I conduct online classes using a whiteboard, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and keep the sessions visually engaging. My focus remains on keeping the learning process smooth, structured, and encouraging, especially for young children who are just beginning to connect with the language.

I also provide comprehensive notes to my students, which they can refer to for revision and practice. These notes are written in a simple and student-friendly manner to support continued learning beyond the classroom. Whether a student is starting Tamil from scratch or looking to improve their school performance, I am committed to making the learning journey enjoyable and effective.
