Holige/Obbattu is a traditional sweet prepared in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa during festivals or on special occasions. This sweet is identified with different name in different states (Ex: In Maharashtra it is called as Puran poli.) and is prepared using different fillings (Ex: Toor dal/ Chana Dal, Coconut, etc.)

Have you ever wanted to learn and master Holige making? Get started with us. Do you know what are the right ingredients and techniques to make Holige? This course will give hands on experience and the tips for you. Imagine you can make Holige at home and give the Holige that you have made by yourself to your Family and Friends.

This is a hands on workshop.

• Bele Holige/Bele Obbattu (Toor Dal)
• Holige /Obbattu/ Obbatina Saaru (Sambar)
• Sihi Kayi (Coconut) Halu with Banana

Procedures to prepare Chana Dal holige will also be given.
