Intensive GRE Verbal Mentoring Program
"I had been scouring for a good GRE mentor for a long time. The herculean vocabulary and labyrinthine Verbal section made the journey seem almost insuperable—until I found Ajeeth. What impressed me most was his perspicacious methodology. I won't divulge the details, but his idiosyncratic framework initially felt unconventional. As my preparation progressed, its remarkable efficacy became increasingly evident. Equally impressive was his understanding of student psychology. On more than one occasion, his judgments proved remarkably prescient, identifying my lacunae even before I had articulated them. Whenever I encountered an obstacle, he patiently offered practical, ingenious solutions. Vocabulary was my greatest impediment. Instead of advocating rote memorization, he devised a quotidian regimen that gradually made even recondite words approachable. His etymology-based EDX course further transformed vocabulary into something intuitive rather than mechanical. His explanations are consistently lucid, rendering even intricate questions tractable. Perhaps the most meaningful part of my journey is this: the vocabulary that once intimidated me has become part of my everyday thinking and expression. That transformation is the enduring legacy of his guidance. "

"Ajeeth sir is a fantastic, focused teacher who takes an immense amount of care in getting to know his students. Throughout my prep, he helped me focus on my weakenesses, offered me ample material to work on them, and encouraged me to do better believing in my potential. I ended up getting a 165 V score and couldn’t have done it without him! "

GRE Verbal
"I attended his GRE Verbal class at Chennai. He was just a few years older than most of the students in that class and hence we never had the teacher-student experience. It was more of a discussion session. Mr.Ajeeth is a lexicomane. It is fun and interesting to listen to him discuss about the etymology of some words and also how he remembers them. I still can recollect the anecdote he gave for the word, 'capricious'. Apparently he once dated a girl who's sun sign was 'Capricorn' and she experienced a lot of 'mood swings' ! Once he narrated most part of the Greek mythology to explain about the words derived from them. He even introduced me to Neil Gaiman and Stephen King and I've been reading their books. ever since. It is really fun, interesting and also beneficial to attend Mr. Ajeeth's class and I would definitely recommend his class to other students. "

Stories are usually the best mode of learning and producing language.
Use language aides to help young learners fill in parts of a story (half filled words on the board, the objects places in the classroom in real life that they have to scavanger hunt and find etc).
Use story telling as a means to help them creatively produce langauge. Perhaps a story train exercise where one starts the story and the each adds more details to the story. The target langauge and level would dictate the language and complexity of the activity.

Of course, it is! That said, the stress on the "r" is not as pronounced as with other languages. Sometimes the "r" is silent altogether.
It has to do with the fact that English is a modified form of several other 'germanic' languages. While it retains a specific spelling rule, the pronunciations are dictated by the root language.
