Nayan Talmale

I completed my civil engineering graduation from pune university (sppu) and have qualified gate examination 2018. Moreover, I have completed my master's (m.Tech) in atmospheric science (meteorology) from the department of atmospheric and space sciences, pune university (sppu) and have qualified csir-net examination in earth science 2020 with the all india rank (air) 79. Talking about my working experiences, I am currently pursuing my phd in "Understanding extreme weather events" at the university of melbourne and also a part of the arc centre of excellence for 21st-century weather. Earlier, I worked as a meteorologist (team lead at the research and development department) at skymet weather services pvt ltd. Before that, I worked as a junior research fellow at the center for atmospheric science, iit delhi. During my master's, I interned at the indian institute of tropical meteorology, pune (iitm). My expertise lies in the fields of #climate change #extreme events #meteorology and dealing with climate datasets. Despite this, I am always eager to learn new things for analysing and handling different datasets.
