Lord Curzon's main motive was to divide by Hindu & Muslim religion, but they told Bengal's people that administration & ruling is very hard.

Their main motive is a religion-based partition, but they told Bengal's people that from Delhi ruling Bengal is very tough because of the distance from Delhi to Bengal. That is why they partition Bengal.
