There is no such thing called a Cartoon Painting!, may be if you draw a cartoon on to the wall of a room or canvas with paint, then u ,may call them a "cartoon done with painting"! Cartoons on Canvas is not a bad idea, as far as it is not looking like a vintage tone! otherwise it could be drawn directly...

Now a days, There are plenty of websites, which has creative cartoon posters. people can download and print on a flex or directly on canvas... that will be cheaper... You can take orders if someone needs those kind of cartoon paintings... all the best.....
