"How do I prepare for the GRE and TOEFL by myself?" in   Exam Coaching/Foreign Education Exam Coaching/TOEFL Coaching

Ritu, the best way to begin is by making a habit of reading at least two hours in a day and jotting down at least 20 new words and their meanings. Maintain a notebook for vocabulary and gradually work on the usage of new words. Focussing on the usage and learning to understand the meaning quickly is the key to begin your preparation. Also start giving mock tests which will help you to work on the time limits for each test. All the best. Just keep a positive attitude .

"What do you think about the following, the anglicization of the world and non-native English-speaking tourists complaining that a country doesn’t have enough English speakers?" in   Language/Spoken English

Dear Harsha. LISTENING is the key. It gets your brain to pick up tones and pronunciations faster and along with reading skills and speaking out words and sentences, success is guaranteed. Just Don't Give up. Far too many people expect to speak fluently in a couple of months without learning the basics. So..here is something to start you off with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-R3nVXSZM4 Also develop a ear for English songs and watch English serials : those are the fun ways and learning doesn't have to be boring . All the best !

"What do you think about the following, the anglicization of the world and non-native English-speaking tourists complaining that a country doesn’t have enough English speakers?" in   Language/Spoken English

I think we should look at this from a practical perspective. Since it is the most widely spoken language, English should be promoted more and more for homogeneity and making life easier for people across the globe. Learning English doesn't mean forsaking your regional culture or language, it simply means finding a common tongue to communicate with people from different parts of the world. The word 'Anglicization' sounds political and should be avoided. Instead, the benefits of learning a universal language should be enjoyed.

"How to speak English without having facility?" in   Language/Spoken English

Surround yourself with the language. 1) Read as much as possible - begin with children's books and move on to magazines and articles 2) Listening and understanding - watch English movies, videos and talks 3) Write daily in a diary and learn five new words every day. 3) Find slow English songs like slow Rock on YouTube and learn the lyrics. There are many ways to make it interesting and fruitful. All the best.
