As you must have seen that one simple verb/word has many variations. Just by adding one suffix or prefix, the entire meaning of that word gets changed.
Therefore, to give you more detail about it, I am going to post lessons every day. That might help you to enhance your vocabulary along with the actual meaning of the words.

sprechen- to speak
German- Ich spreche Deutsch.
English- I Speak German.
versprechen- to promise
German- Mir wurde ein hoherer Lohn versprochen.
English- I was promised a higher wage.
besprechen- to discuss
German- Das muss Ich mit meinem Mann besprechen.
English- I'll have to discuss this with my husband.
