Create a new file and fill the property as you like. Start with brush tool and go on drawing and painting over the canvas. I think this is the most convenient way to start and then move on to other tools.

Hi Aravind, There are so many online tutorials for beginners, you can start with the tools one by one and then other options but the best and quick way is that if you can take some sessions with some one who is already using photoshop or hire any tutor. It will help you to start.
