As every one said, it is essential that you start with Photoshop. this is not for learning Photography in totality but for understanding the basic concepts of filming, color gamuts, basic input & output systems required for mastery in handling photos. you can start with Photoshop, get a basic camera with lens adjustments(if you can spend) gain experience, then start with Adobe Light room. this is how serious professionals grow. And last but not least, Photography is Art unto itself & demands creative faulty with a lot of patience. Forget about people who buy DLSRs to take photos and call themselves as Photographers. they know zilch of the art form. read less
