If you want to select the whole image and want to utilise it you can go for copy and pasting it as we do in ms word etc. if you want to make localised selection then you can go for Selection Tools----- Quick selection Tool, Lasso Tool and Magic Wand Tool etc. Quick Selection Tool: You need to click on the tool and then when you hover the cursor over the designated area, it will select it. Lasso Tool: By selecting this tool, you can select the area that is enclosed withing the selection. Magic wand Tool: This tool basically selects the pixels of same color from the image. read less
