Will a customized WordPress theme break after updating?

Hi Kunal, If you have customized by modifying the theme files directly, yes it'll break after updating. You need to create a child theme, copy the theme files you need to modify and then modify those files in the child theme.

Yes...every time the theme updates the new css will take effect. So you will have to keep of copy of updates done in the css.

Hi, Free themes are having limited options. Always go with premium themes like eleganthemes. But I prefer "Total Theme" it has full customized options. You can customize layout, page, header and footer etc.
