Hi, I am new to Wordpress and want to create a website for a doctor, similar to Lifeforce. What theme would work best for this kind of content? Each theme description is very similar "responsive website, create custom layouts" etc. How do I figure out which theme to select for my requirement? Has anyone used this theme Elegantthemes. It's a paid one in which it is easy to edit, similar to working in Photoshop. Are there any free themes which have this feature?

There are many free themes available, but then they have a limitations to edit. Even if you know wordpress it is always advisable to choose paid one from the sites like Themeforest.net which have a good databases for theme. 3 main reasons of why you can opt to purchase the theme from there are:

1. Themes choosen from this site is very secured, hence directly your website will be secured.

2. You can contact the author of the theme and even get themes customized you want, you will also get support from them. 

3. Other good reason is you will be saving time in customizing the things. 

You will be only paying once for using the theme which I think is worth.

Irrespective of which theme you use, You should know how to set up the site in terms post types/categories/taxonomy and the number of pages and features you need. It will be very difficult to find a theme that can cater to all your requirements. At some time point you will need to know html/css/php to be able to make some customization.
