For the basics - 3 to 6 months. For the complete thing - Endless.

miinimum 6 to 8 months to complete basic level.

You can play good piano or keyboard within 6 months if you practice well in home and if you are under the guidance of a good music teacher .

Depending totally on student's dedication & adaptation. Could be 6 months to 2 years to learn western music basics.

Of course, learning is endless. Western Instrumental would take at least one year but that would happen if you are dedicated and can devote time for practice. You would also have to learn western notations (Staff Notation). Western Vocal would be more difficult unless one has absolutely no accent.
