Expert Developer and Trainer With 10+ Years of Experience

To start, please go with HTML, CSS and Javascript. These will be required to develop frontend of the website. Further you can go for PHP, ASP.NET for backend. I would recommend PHP because some of the frameworks are based on PHP like WordPress, Laraval, Shopify.

Hi Mudita, I think I'm eligible to answer this question being a self taught web developer! First Step (Choose your path): Front End Path (involves building interactive web sites, designing them and providing functionalities) Full Stack Path (same as front-end path + backend functionality or server side coding) I'll quickly brief these two to help you decide! Front End Path: If you master this path, you might call yourself a front-end developer. You will learn how to structure and develop websites and applications using web technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript etc.) which will run in the web browsers of varied type of devices. This path is recommended if you have more inclination towards the design aspect of the web development. But which are the languages to learn? Well I would recommend you follow the same order as the list below: HTML and CSS Javascript (also some libraries like jQuery) Ember or AngularJS (frameworks) Once you’re through with front-end development, you can always learn backend development as-well and move on to be a full stack dev. for more https://www.bay20.education/ read less
