Ms. Prerna Yete has a strong academic background with a B.Sc. in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics from Fergusson College, Pune University, where she secured an impressive 7.95 CGPA. She further pursued her passion for economics and completed her M.A. in Economics from the same institution, achieving an outstanding 8.25 CGPA with major subjects including Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, and Statistics. Her dedication to the field is evident through her success in prestigious national-level examinations — she has qualified the SET (Maharashtra) in Economics in 2024, the NET in Economics in 2025, and the GATE in Economics in 2025. These qualifications reflect her deep understanding of economic theories, quantitative techniques, and research methodologiesMs. Prerna Yete is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Garware College, Pune, a position she has held since July 2025. In this role, she has been responsible for developing comprehensive course materials and syllabi for both undergraduate and graduate programs. She teaches core economics subjects including Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Mathematical Economics, and Quantitative Techniques. She has prepared innovative course materials to encourage critical thinking and discussion among students, and has also supervised independent research projects, guiding students through their academic inquiries.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Prerna Yete served as an Assistant Professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University from December 2024 to May 2025. During this tenure, she advised students on academic pathways and career opportunities within their fields, actively participated in faculty meetings to collaborate on curriculum development initiatives, and evaluated student performance through assessments, feedback, and grading policies. She also organized departmental events, workshops, and guest lectures to enhance student engagement and enrich the learning environment.
