Professional Background & Qualifications
I am a dedicated and experienced Physics educator with over 14 years of teaching experience in secondary and senior-secondary education, along with approximately 5 years of experience in IIT Foundation coaching. My teaching experience spans Physics, competitive-exam preparation, and foundation-level science education with a strong focus on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and examination readiness.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Jammu which I completed in 2017 with First Distinction I was also a State Topper in the National Graduate Physics Examination conducted by IIT Bombay in 2017, reflecting my strong academic foundation and subject knowledge.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students across different academic levels, helping them develop strong fundamentals in Physics and preparing them for school examinations as well as competitive-level assessments. I have particular experience in IIT Foundation teaching where I focus on developing analytical thinking, numerical problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of physical concepts.
I am proficient in English and other languages and am comfortable working in a bilingual/multilingual classroom environment. I make effective use of modern teaching technologies, digital resources, simulations, interactive activities, and student-centred teaching methodologies to make Physics more engaging and easier to understand.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience in academic planning, question-paper preparation, student assessment, curriculum implementation, departmental coordination, and science-related academic activities. I have also undertaken responsibilities as a Science Department Head coordinating teachers and overseeing academic activities within the department.
My teaching philosophy is centered on making Physics conceptual, practical, application-oriented, and accessible to students while simultaneously developing the reasoning and problem-solving abilities required for higher studies and competitive examinations.
