I am a Mathematics teacher with 12 years of teaching experience, specialising in teaching students from Classes 8 to 12 under both CBSE and State Board curricula. I have an M.Sc. in Mathematics along with a B.Ed. degree, which has helped me build a strong foundation in both the subject and effective teaching methodologies. Over the years, I have worked with students at different academic levels and focused on making Mathematics easier to understand, more structured, and less intimidating.

My teaching approach is centred around developing strong conceptual clarity rather than encouraging students to rely only on memorisation. I believe that once students understand the logic behind a mathematical concept, they become much more confident in applying it to different types of problems. I therefore focus on explaining topics step by step, identifying areas where students are facing difficulty, and giving them sufficient practice to strengthen their understanding. My goal is to help students develop the ability to approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.

I have experience teaching Mathematics for Classes 8 to 12 and understand the academic requirements of both CBSE and State Board students. I structure my lessons according to the student's class, syllabus, current level of understanding, and academic goals. Whether a student needs help building fundamentals, preparing for school examinations, improving problem-solving abilities, or strengthening specific topics, I adapt my teaching accordingly. I also pay attention to common mistakes and gaps in understanding so that students can steadily improve their performance.

I use lesson plans and interactive sessions to make my classes organised and engaging. I incorporate tools such as PowerPoint presentations and digital whiteboards wherever they can make a concept clearer or easier to visualise. I believe that an interactive classroom encourages students to participate actively instead of simply listening to explanations. During sessions, I encourage students to ask questions, work through problems, and explain their approach so that I can understand their thought process and guide them effectively.

Over my 12 years of teaching, I have helped students strengthen their mathematical concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve better academic results. I understand that every student learns differently, so I do not follow exactly the same approach with everyone. Some students may need additional attention on fundamentals, while others may benefit from more advanced problem-solving practice. I try to identify these individual needs and plan my sessions accordingly, while maintaining a clear and consistent learning structure.

I have also participated in several teaching and professional development workshops and received certificates related to them. In addition, I have completed UPSC preparation training and hold a certificate for the same. These experiences have contributed to my overall understanding of structured learning, preparation, and continuous professional development. I believe that a teacher should continue learning and improving in order to provide students with better guidance.

I conduct classes through both online and offline modes and aim to create a focused, supportive, and interactive learning environment in every session. My objective is not only to help students perform well in their examinations but also to develop their confidence in Mathematics and their ability to solve problems independently. With my experience, subject knowledge, and student-focused approach, I work towards helping each learner make steady progress and achieve their academic goals.
