A vocalist could be excused for a few slightly misplaced notes but there is no alibi for missed beat.As my guruji always says while Practicing vocals that"Besure ho jaao Betaale mt hona" means it's ok to miss a note but never miss a beat while singing.So, Practicing with tabla ensures that you will never miss a beat infact if you learn to play basic tabla with your vocals it helps a lot as you'll never miss a beat. read less
