In carnatic music , after junior exam hw many years u should practise to take senior exam??
When you complete the advanced lessons and have enough practice sessions, with the guru guidance you can apply. Minimum one year to two years. Wish you all the best.

Not exactly. but some basic knowledge of classical music can make more easier to understand notes of the song.
