IdentityI have six years of experience in teaching. My experience as a teacher in school has been both challenging and rewarding. I have had the opportunity to work with diverse groups of students, each bringing unique perspectives and learning styles to the classroom. My primary role was not just to deliver content, but to inspire critical thinking, foster curiosity, and help students develop both academically and personally.
One of the most fulfilling parts of teaching was seeing the 'aha' moments when students truly grasped a difficult concept. I made it a priority to create an inclusive and interactive classroom environment, using a mix of lectures, group discussions, multimedia tools, and real-world case studies.
Outside the classroom, I mentored students, advised academic projects, and participated in curriculum development to ensure our programs remained relevant and rigorous. Collaboration with fellow faculty members also enriched my teaching, as we often shared strategies, resources, and feedback.
Challenges like managing large class sizes, addressing varied learning paces, and keeping students engaged in a digital age required continuous learning and adaptation on my part. But these challenges also made me a better educator—more empathetic, innovative, and resilient."
