Yeah in general it is hard instrument to master. But you'll master the instrument with practice. You may however need to develop strong pitch sense to know if you are playing correctly (Perfect Pitch)

You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
