No, the violin is not exclusively an instrument for girls; anyone, regardless of gender, can play the violin; however, due to social stereotypes, it is often perceived as a more "feminine" instrument, leading to more girls choosing to play it compared to boys

Hi, I want to learn to play the violin, and I am not sure which violin to go for as a beginner. I don't have any local shop nearby, so I probably would have to order online. Can someone help with which violin I should buy?
You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
