Have a proper case, wrap the violin in chamois cloth and keep only those relevant things inside the space of your violin case like a set of EADG strings, spare bridge, a rosin. Thermal expansion contractions happen with weather changes and the violin should not be kept in ambient environment, when not in use. read less

You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
