Make THE child understand the concept of PART and WHOLE.Numeral "2" and "3" are the two pars and "5" is the whole. Practical example: Take 2 red color blocks and 3 green color blocks(Give him the red part first and then give him the green part). Ask the child to join these blocks by stacking it so that it looks like a tower.
