Aakruti K. - Your go-to Languages, Literature and History educator

I am an educator with 2 years of teaching experience, working primarily with students from Classes 10, 11, and 12. I teach English, Hindi, German, History, and Political Science, and I enjoy helping students develop a clear understanding of their subjects while improving their confidence and academic performance. I believe that a good learning experience should encourage students to think, ask questions, and explore topics beyond simply preparing for examinations.

I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts (M.A.) in German Language and Literature. I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in German Language and Literature from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where I also studied English Literature, Hindi Literature, and Philosophy as core subjects. My academic background has given me exposure to multiple disciplines and has helped me develop a broad understanding of languages, literature, humanities, and social sciences.

I have experience teaching students between the ages of 12 and 35, which has helped me become comfortable working with learners from different age groups and with varied learning requirements. I understand that every student approaches a subject differently, so I adapt my teaching style, pace, and explanations accordingly. My strengths include clear communication, detailed explanations, and the ability to break down complex topics into simpler and more engaging ideas.

My teaching approach is interactive and student-focused. I prepare a clear lesson plan for each class and use discussions, questions, and practical examples to make the sessions more meaningful. I encourage students to participate actively and share their thoughts rather than simply listening to a lecture. When teaching languages and humanities subjects, I also focus on context and interpretation so that students can understand the ideas behind the topics and develop a deeper appreciation for what they are studying.
For subjects such as English, Hindi, German, History, and Political Science, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding along with the ability to express ideas clearly. I help students work through difficult topics step by step and encourage them to connect different concepts wherever possible. My background in German, English Literature, Hindi Literature, and Philosophy also allows me to bring perspectives from different disciplines into my teaching when they are relevant to the topic.

I am an avid reader and enjoy exploring subjects in depth. I have a strong interest in art and practise it myself, and I am particularly fascinated by mythology, including Greek mythology. These interests have helped me develop a creative and curious approach to learning, and I often find ways to bring interesting context, examples, and wider perspectives into my classes. I believe that these connections can make subjects more engaging and help students look at familiar topics from a different perspective.

I offer both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to support my lessons. I adjust the pace of each class according to the student's understanding and make sure there is enough opportunity for questions and discussion. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, clarifying their doubts, and gradually becoming more confident in their abilities. I aim to help my students develop strong subject knowledge, better communication and analytical skills, and a genuine interest in learning.
