IdentityYashwant Rai is a CELTA certified language trainer. CELTA stands for Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It is provided by Cambridge English Language Assessment . Apart from that he has a ten-year experience of teaching for CAT, GRE, GMAT & IELTS. He has worked with T.I.M.E, I.M.S & FIITJEE for the above mentioned exams. He has also worked as an English teacher at Calorx Olive International School (Ahmedabad) which follows Cambridge & IB curricula. Currently, he is working as a part- time faculty at EEC Baroda.
Besides his academics, he has spent a few years at Osho Commune, Pune. He got there opportunity to learn meditation and unlearn many things. Besides this, he realized that unless a creative person goes through meditation, most of his so called art/creativity turns out to be catharsis. There have been Zen monks who have never hankered for self-aggrandizement through their creativity. Similarly, unless a teacher goes through meditation, the possibility always lurks that his teaching may turn out to be a tool to domineer over the students.
Jyoti Jha has done her Bachelor of Engineering in Information & Technology from VTU, Visvesvaraya Technological University. She has worked for Maruti Udyog Ltd. and later as Study coordinator at Career Forum, Bangalore. She has been associated with Arch Development Foundation, Baroda.
