My first year teaching Jolly Phonics offline was an incredible experience. I was immediately drawn to the program's multi-sensory approach, which makes learning to read and write fun and engaging for young children. I started by teaching the 42 letter sounds, using actions, stories, and songs to help the children remember them. We then moved on to blending those sounds to read words and segmenting words into their sounds for spelling. The children loved the hands-on activities, games, and worksheets that accompanied each lesson. One of the highlights of my year was seeing the children's progress. They started not knowing any letter sounds, but by the end of the year, they were reading simple books and writing short sentences. It was so rewarding to see their confidence grow as they developed their literacy skills. I also learned a lot as a teacher. I became more creative in my lesson planning and more attuned to the individual needs of each child. I also realized the importance of making learning fun and relevant to children's lives. Overall, my first year of teaching Jolly Phonics offline was a success. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have helped young children develop a love of reading and writing.

I enjoy teaching kids of primary classes. I ask them to read the topic slowly, clearly and loudly. While reading I ask them to underline difficult words. I explain the topic in bit sized concepts, sentences and relate them to our surroundings. They have to re-explain the part to me in English and Hindi as well. I then give them dictation, word meanings, make sentences irrespective of the subject even it is from their math book. After every chapter, I give them worksheets to complete. Before exams I make them revise the entire chapter again, new worksheets to do and ask oral questions. This actually helps them to learn the core of the concept, explain what they have learnt and simultaneously enhance their vocabulary. The kids enjoy being a teacher infront of me. After my explanation I become the student and they become the teacher. So here comes the confidence too.
