First of all this is not "इको याणचि " it's "इको यणचि " (Maybe typing mistake..)
(यण् सन्धि)
( इको यणचि) इ,ई को य्, उ,ऊ को व्, ऋ,ॠ को र्, लृ को ल् हो जाता है यदि बाद में कोई स्वर हो तो।
उदाहरण-- प्रति + एकः= प्रत्येकः। यहां प्रति शब्द के इ को य् हुआ है क्योंकि बाद में स्वर ए परे है।
इसी प्रकार-- २) यदि+अपि= यद्यपि।
३) गुरु+ आज्ञा= गुर्वाज्ञा।
४) वधू+ औ=वध्वौ।
५) पितृ+आ= पित्रा।
६) कर्तृ+आ=कर्त्रा।
७) लृ+आकृतिः=लाकृतिः।
८) इति+ आह=इत्याह
९)नदी+औ=नद्यौ
१०)अनु+अयः=अन्वयः।
