I have a strong academic and professional background in English, communication, and writing. I earned a B.A. in English from Wesleyan University, where I focused on race and ethnicity studies and creative writing, and developed advanced skills in reading, writing, analysis, and communication. I am currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at Temple University Tyler School of Art and Architecture, which has further strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and work with students from diverse backgrounds.

My professional experience includes editorial and communication-focused roles. As an Editorial Intern at Kaya Press, I evaluated and proofread manuscripts throughout the publication process, collaborated with designers, and produced written content such as newsletters and social media materials. These responsibilities required strong attention to grammar, clarity, and audience engagement.

I have also worked in roles that involved mentoring, public speaking, and guiding diverse groups. While working in the Office of Admissions at Wesleyan University, I led campus tours and communicated with prospective students and families, which strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt communication to different audiences.

Additionally, my work in community organizing and project management has further developed my interpersonal and instructional skills. Through these experiences, I have gained strong abilities in clear communication, editing, critical reading, and helping others understand complex material, which I believe translate very well into teaching English effectively.
