I am a Certified Personal Coach interested in helping people manage their Diabetes efficiently and motivate them to stay on track by being their accountability partner.

I have been diabetic myself for the past 16 years and can share my experience and knowledge on the do's and don'ts of diabetes management. Most people think they are managing their diabetes well only to find out later that they developed complications because it was not well controlled. Diabetes has to be managed 24/7 and that in itself can cause stress. Stress also can cause your sugar levels to rise.

I can help you make out a plan and give you tools, and help you de-stress from emotional and life challenges through techniques of visualization and meditation. Making the right choices in taking your food, exercising and taking your medication regularly is the corner stone of Diabetes treatment. It is really a balancing act in order to avoid spikes and dips in your sugar readings and requires a lot of discipline and awareness of how your body reacts to the changes in food and your mental make up.

Education leads to wisdom! I have designed a self management program which I give out in 8 modules using the acronym ESCALATE where each letter covers a module which can help you in meeting your goals and make the necessary life style change. It requires persistence and consistent action to make a life style change. To stay motivated in this long journey is a challenge which I am here to help you with.
