1. What is Urdu? (Introduction)
Urdu is a beautiful language spoken in India and Pakistan. It is written from right to left.
Example:
English → Hello
Urdu → سلام (Salaam)
2. Urdu Alphabet (حروفِ تہجی)
Urdu has 36 letters. Start with a few basic ones:
ا (Alif)
ب (Bay)
پ (Pay)
ت (Tay)
ث (Say)
👉 Teach pronunciation slowly and clearly.
3. Basic Sounds Practice
ا → “aa” (as in apple)
ب → “b” (as in ball)
ت → “t” (as in table)
Ask students to repeat 2–3 times.
4. Simple Words (آسان الفاظ)
اب (Ab) – Now
باپ (Baap) – Father
پتہ (Pata) – Address/leaf
👉 Break words into letters for easy understanding.
5. Writing Practice
Show how to write from right to left
