(ii) Like any other examination, Criterion is there for Age, Qualifications, Marks etc. General guidelines are as applicable for UPSC examinations. Advised to have a look at relevant web sites. (iii) However, the Written Examination weight-age is 1/3rd marks for Maths, 1/3rd for English and 1/3rd for Physics, Chemistry, CA etc etc. (iv) Once selected, SSB is very comprehensive interview and testing mechanism spread over 4 days period generally, culminating with Medical examination for those who clear SSB. (v) Naturally, medical criterion will be stringent, because you are going into defence forces. read less
