Part time job is not bad thing. It will help u support your studies but, u should see that it doesn't affect your studies

what are the basic time preparation for ias ??
It depends on the schedule you are comfortable with. On an average 8 hours daily for 6 months can help you befriend with the subjects concerned. A good mentor is also required throughout.
