I have seen people preparing it for 4-5 years and I have seen people cracking it in 6 months too. So first ..you judge your level. If you are a fresh graduate having average knowledge of your branch with average grasping power. Then I'd say 1 year is quite apt.. provided you work hard for whole year without skipping and escaping.. If you are good with your technical basics...I presume 6 months with all day night study can make you an ies officer.. read less
