can any one suggest the better career options after failure in 1st attempt of upsc exam, it should not divert/drag back from the game of upsc........ofcourse teaching is best what else more

Best Institute For Competitive Exams

Many options if you wish for a govt job. Also try for other exams conducted by UPSC such as CAPF, ICAR etc. Try for CGL by SSC and thirdly many vacancies are in banking and insurance sector through IBPS and other organisations

You can try the following : 1. RBI Group B exam or SSC Group B exam. Both these exams offer a great opportunity for you to work for the Govt of India and serve at top echelons of government. 2. There is PMRDF (Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellowship) which offers ample opportunity to work on field for rural development. 3. As mentioned by Ms. Sunitha, Bank PO exams are a great way to build your career. 4. You can work for NGOs like Teach for India to fulfill your dreams of working for the society. 5. All the above options require you to have any basic degree, if none of them work out, you can go back to your core field that you studied in your degree. 6. If you cannot find any job in your field, you can do courses in TISS, or try for CAT and get into higher studies and aim for good placements. On Merit but Option should be there since there are some physical requirement so you may be offered IFS.
