I am currently a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who has a deep passion for science and loves helping others understand their full potential. I have more than 2 years experience teaching high school biology and chemistry - particularly GCSE/IGCSE and A level Biology and Chemistry! I believe in a mutual teaching approach, which allows students to take charge of their own learning and make them more independent. I also encourage students to work as independently as possible and often use small quizzes in the middle of lessons to consolidate knowledge. A typical lesson plan also depends on student needs, whether it's recapping a topic or helping with exam prep. I also like to include games wherever I can, such as a version of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' and Kahoot. My lessons are also for students up till grade 10.
