I am Roopal, a second year Biomedical Science student at Imperial College London with a strong passion for tutoring kids Biology and. Chemistry. I aim to build a strong rapport with my students to understand their individual needs better. I have previously been a Kumon tutor, tutoring kids aged 6-12.

As someone who graduated the IBDP in 2024 with an overall score of 41/45 grade points, I have tried various learning strategies and understand how overwhelming it can be for students to manage so much content in such a small duration of time. Personally for me, breaking down complex concepts using analogies and acronyms, along with active rehearsal of the concept, was the best approach for me.

While I do acknowledge that every students approach towards learning might be different and keeping this in mind, I am willing to tailor my lessons according to the students needs inculcating activities and ways that might help one understand better. I will also be providing revision topic wise question banks on a regular basis and I will review and correct these outside of class to ensure that the materials covered in these lessons is properly being understood. I also make it a priority to connect with the parents regularly, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and ensuring that learning remains on track. With your collaboration and understanding, we can work together to make this learning journey both productive and enjoyable.
