### My Experience & Background

I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with **BSc, MSc, MPhil and B.Ed in Mathematics**. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of Mathematics, while my B.Ed training has helped me develop effective teaching, classroom management and student-support skills.

During my B.Ed teaching internship, I gained practical classroom experience with students in **Grades 7 and 9**, where I prepared lesson plans, used teaching aids, managed classroom activities, assessed student understanding and provided individual support when required.

I have also provided **online Mathematics tuition**, helping students understand concepts step by step and improve their problem-solving skills.

My teaching approach is focused on **conceptual understanding rather than memorisation**. I explain topics in simple steps, ask questions throughout the lesson, give guided practice and gradually encourage students to solve problems independently.

I can support students with **CBSE Mathematics from Grades 5–10**, including schoolwork, homework, concept clarification, revision and examination preparation.

I am particularly interested in helping students who feel that Mathematics is difficult or lack confidence in the subject. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, understand their mistakes and develop confidence in solving Mathematics problems.
