0Mostly students get confused about answer's signs so lets have a look at it:
There are two kinda rules about signs
1) Addition
2) Multiplication
1) Addition: + + + = + a+b = - + - = -a+(-b)= -c
If all the numbers in sums represent same signthen add that number and give the answer will have a same sign.
- + + = Bigger number sign -a+b = -c (a>b)
+ + - = Bigger number sign a+(-b)= -c (a<b)
If numbers in sum represent different signs then do subtraction then give answer sign of bigger number.
2) Multiplication: + * +=+a * b = c
- * - =+ -a * -b = c
- * + =- -a * b =-c
+ * - = - +a * b =-c
