Yeah! Vedic should be used for fast calculation. But, when I suggest the students, I found them hesitant in using vedic_maths for fast calculation. I think students should practice well before using this specific fast calculative tool of maths. Thanx.

Yes if he knows it's very good but the present style and syllabi which is taught does not require so much of vedic mathematics. But the present syllabi needs to be changed so that it can be of practical use for everyone not just for getting marks and giving burden to the brain.

I don't think there is any need to know Vedic mathematics for quick calculation. Yes you should surely learn it if you are interested but if you are looking from competitive examination point of view then I can tell you that practice more rather than learning Vedic mathematics
