0Matter: Matter is something that has weight and occupies space.
States of matter: There are three states of matter namely.. Solid, Liquid and Gas.
* Solid has definite shape and size. E.g. stone, eraser, pencil.
* Liquid does not have a definite shape or size but it can change its shape according to the container it is kept in. E.g . Milk, oil, juice.
* Gas too does not have a definite shape and size and it occupies the entire space wherever it's kept. It can be a balloon, a room or a jar. E.g. steam, oxygen,smoke.
