What is the Solution for Audio Delay?

A. By taking Slip tool, drag the Video Clip frame by frame forward in the timeline until we match the lip movement

Syncing can also be done by adjusting the Audio clip to match the Video Clip.

Hello Students, hope you are doing well!

As this is my first lesson on Urban Pro, so I thought to write something that can benefit you at a beginner level :)

I'm a Multimedia Professional, a Faculty in the same field as well, doing well in my profession. To share the knowledge I have is my hobby since my early childhood, and I'll continue it until my last breath! Professional details about me, you'll get in my profile.

Now let’s begin the class.

Before getting your first step in the field, actually in any area, you should know at least basics about that particular field. In general, if I say, so, first of all, you should know the what and how of the field, the scope, and most importantly, your interest...is it that you can do efficiently, or something else is better for you...???

For Multimedia & Designing field, some people might say that you should be good at computers, or you should be good at drawing, but believe me, the best student of mine, is also one who's very poor at drawing. Seriously, but as I said, she's my best student, I meant it! She's a good designer, as well as from commerce field too! I mean, there is no bar on the student that you should be from arts, science, commerce or any particular subject in high school or intermediate. Anybody can join the field without any pre-requisite degree.

It may sound shocking for some people, but all you need to be a good designer is the creativity. The imagination power. How much you can think of something, in how many ways you can interpret a design. That’s what matters. Everyone has their unique potential, and calibre.

Now let's interpret some rumours & myths that confuse our lovely & sweet students :)

To join a design field, you need to have:

Good Computer Knowledge: No! Every Institution teaches student basics of computers before starting the multimedia software. So you will get this thing when you join.

Fluent Drawing Skills: Not Mandatory, although a plus point! If the child has enthusiasm and passion for creating new things and exciting designs, drawing skills are not necessary. You will not use pencil and paper to figure out a design. Instead, computer graphics will be created by you. All you need is to have an understanding point of view.

Contacts in Industry: Not at all! :D If you'll become a good designer, you will create connections yourself. It is just a magical spell to keep the innocent students out of the field as the above rumours are taken as true by our elders.

Creativity and Passion: Must and the only requirement, to be a successful designer. All you need is this, and rest depends upon your command over software tools, which will be generated by practice.

So these were some negative points that you may come across, but make the final decision yours! Because, "If you do a thing that you don't want to, you can't do it at your best. However, if you do what you want, then no one can do it better than you!"

You will come across many Bhaiyas, Didis, Govt. job wale uncles and many more people around you who have achieved excellent heights in career but they will be negative about this field like, " it's about your luck. Kuch hona Nii h isme, agr luck lag gya kahin se tabhi success possible hai etc. " hahaha...!

But all these are the influence of above rumours on them! Even I, myself have changed minds of my many relatives and neighbours.

One more thing that I think is necessary is that people say that students who are weak in the study and so, are choosing design and animation field. That's what makes me lose temper and I want to strike them lol..!! But it's not true at all, its hurting :c Animation and design are also a field of study. These are a totally practical field that requires more attention and hard work than the so-called study like B.Tech, BCA, and all.... I'm not criticising any course or field, but just saying that we, multimedians also study, and keep exploring every day, because there is a new challenge, a new design, a new update coming in the market every day! Even I've always been a meritorious student of my times, since my early childhood to my latest education. So I completely deny this.

Finally, guys and girls, I'll suggest you join the field as it has a very fast, wide and exciting scope in industry, and also you can get different jobs like that of a graphic artist, animator, 3d modeller, video editor and many more by doing just one multimedia program. Even I started my career one year before completing my diploma course :)

All you need is to read this lesson thoroughly, explore multimedia yourself and then question yourself that

"Do you have that power which can make you the Designer of the Century...??"

When you get the answer, you can come to me for further guidance or training :)

Well, that's all for today's lesson, I hope that You didn't get bored :D :D and understood it well...!!

So Bye everyone, and take very good care of yourself,

Signing out for now, this is

Shubham Srivastava,

Multimedia Professional & Faculty, now Mentor as well :D :D

We want to make sure that everything we do help our customers and our audience. For instance, we build a product, making sure that we build a tool that our customers will actually utilise. This requires us to understand their problem, need and specifically ones that we can solve. Furthermore, this will help you understand more thoroughly; when we write our blog we make sure that we create content that our audience will truly stand the benefit from it. We just do not want a share or a click out of you. We want to be a well-known source for the knowledgeable and go-to resource.

In the same context, everyone knows that social media channels provide online video sharing site that allows millions of users globally to post and view videos, regardless of their location and time of the day. But this is not the only benefit that one can avail – these channels can be utilised for making revenue, being directly and indirectly as well.  Here are some of the ways summarized as following that surely help you obtain more views on Social media channels and which should be most importantly kept in consideration:-

  • Firstly the title of your video is what strikes people. A video title with spelling mistakes will lessen its credibility, especially if a video is meant to be educational or informative. The title to a video content is significantly important, as individuals choose the video they want to watch cased on what title of the video conveys.

  • Pick a good thumbnail that is quite relevant to the video. Just one look at the thumbnail gives an idea to people what they can expect to see in the video.

  • In addition, you will need to use appropriate tags, as for the video to get picked in searches and to be featured with other relevant videos.

  • Choose the finest words that describe the content and theme of your video. The content pattern and style are two critical aspects, which significantly combine to get more viewers on the social media channels. The video content will hugely depend on the theme of your video and the sort of audience you looking to target. For instance, if the style and content appeal to the audiences, resulting in your video become an enormous hit.

It’s good to produce videos that are two or three minutes long, to retain audience’s attention. As your audience or followers get familiar with your style of communicating, you can enhance the video length. It’s advisable to make sure that your video is well edited yet interesting and appealing to viewers. Basically, to get more views on Social Media Channels it’s important to understand your target audience well and upload finest quality videos under the appropriate categories.

Raag is the backbone of Indian Classical Music. The word raag comes from Sanskrit word "Ranj" which means to delight, to make happy and to satisfy. Here it's necessary to clarify that not all raags project a happy mood. The raag can produce various moods such as Shant (serenity), Shrungaar (erotic), Bhakti (devotion to God), Veer (gallantry, bravery, aggressive).

Raag is neither a scale, nor a mode. It is, however, a scientific, precise, subtle, and aesthetic melodic form with its own peculiar ascending and descending movement which consists of either a full octave, or a series of five or six notes.

An omission of a jarring or dissonant note, or an emphasis on a particular note, or the transition from one note to another, and the use of microtones along with other subtleties, distinguish one raag from the other.

There are 3 Raag bhed (Types of Raag)

  1. Shuddha Raag: The raag in which even if any notes that are not present in it are used, it's nature and form does not change
  2. Chhayalag Raag: The raag in which if any notes that are not present in it are used, it's nature and
    form changes.
  3. Sankeerna Raag: The raag in which there is a combination of two or more raags.

To say the least, linear editing is an outdated method of editing practiced on film roles with heavy setup and equipment, while non linear editing is the new method of editing done on digital videos using digital software. Non linear video editing offers many advantages over linear editing techniques . Non Destructive, you don't destroy the original clip in any way. Flexible, effects applied to the video can be added, modified as per requirement. Quicker and easier, you can move back and forth in a video file and that to with a simple mouse click. Sharing a screenshot of Premiere Pro CC, a famous non linear video editing software. You can have an idea from there. read less

Video Editing : With Sony Vegas Pro

Creating a project, from start to finish :  Now that you know your editing environment, you can start editing in Sony Vegas. In this lesson, we'll create a project from scratch, perform some minor edits, and take a quick peek into exporting out projects.

Effect and Colour Correction : Special effects and color correction are some of the more fun parts of video editing because you get to manipulate the picture and create some pretty neat, visually-appealing effects. While we're not going to learn to be special effects masters in this lesson, we'll take a look at basic color correction and effects that you can pick up pretty quickly to create some awesome results.

Preparing and Encoding you Video for Delivery : I'll get your footage ready for delivery by learning about the built-in video export methods in Sony Vegas Pro. I'll also spend half the lesson discussing encoding, how it works, and how you can create your own encoding specifications to achieve better results with your exported video.

Photo Editing : With Adobe Photoshop

We're not going to take a look at every single tool but we are going to look at almost every one of them. While this overview will give you an idea of what each tool does, go find yourself a photo and start playing around with them.
