GRE and TOEFL are two completely different exams. GRE is required for Engineering, Science and other graduate admissions. Though GRE is required for admission to many universities, some universities do not require it. TOEFL on the other hand is required as an English language test for the admission to all the studies whether graduate or undergraduate. It is difficult to say which is easier as GRE can be taken as general and also be taken for different subjects. read less
